Sino-French Institute of Engineering & Management at Tongji University, Shanghai
IFCIM is an Educational Joint Venture under Chinese law, set up in 1999 by Tongji University and the ENPC-ParisTech, and placed under the authority of a Supervisory Board and an Executive Committee. All training-related activities are monitored by an Academic Council, and all training programmes are auto-financed.
Since 2000, IFCIM has been running the Shanghai International MBA (SIMBA), which is the MBA that the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) teaches and delivers the degree for in China, with the official backing of the Chinese Ministry of Education. In the past couple of years, SIMBA was rated among the top three foreign MBAs in China, and in 2004 it totaled 90 participants.
IFCIM also developed a few double-degree M.Sc.programmes, the first year of which is taught in Shanghai (along with an intensive course of French language), the second, followed up by a 6 month industrial internship, in Paris.
These M.Sc. programmes include :
